There seems to be a significant amount of confusion and concern being
voiced on the forum about what the transition from MRP to Rewardical
actually means. Is it good? Is is bad?
I encourage you to check out the following post where I've written up a
fairly-detailed comparison list of MRP vs. RT, which I think you will
find enlightening: https://www.sfimg.com/forum/thread?post_id=1340018#post-1340018
I also encourage you to review this great overview by long-time Forum
Guru Andy "Zeus" Anderson that also nicely lays out a lot of the big
picture (and that can help you lead your team and move from uncertainty
to "let's go!"): https://www.sfimg.com/forum/thread?post_id=1339057#post-1339057
Let's get to work! Onward and upward we go!

"At first I thought SFI was too good to be true, but now I
can really say that I definitely do not regret spending the time to
learn and explore this absolutely wonderful opportunity. Now I cannot
wait to build my business as much as I can; and with all the support SFI
offers, there are no excuses for not being successful.
" H. Singh, India
There is a good AskSC question on this and there are some very good answers.
I just want to share an experience I had with LinkedIn.
Every new connection I receive in LinkedIn receives an email from me doing three things.
1. Asking why did they connect with me.
2. Asking what they do and how do they use LinkedIn to do it. This may
be modified by asking How they are doing if their business is clearly
mentioned in their profile.
3. A video link to that explains How to maximize the value of their
LinkedIn experience. I explain at this point that I am a Team Leader and
Trainer and I want them to value from their experience with me.
To this people respond in 2 ways. with introductions and appreciations
or blatant ads about their business. Where appropriate, I respond to
these LinkedIn Mails. Always appropriate with the first group, sometimes
with the second group.
I was responding to LinkedIn mail and this is why Badges are so important.
Eric asked me about my business and if I was successful. I told him I
am very successful online in SFI. I have been with them going on 4 years
now and as of 2013 I left my full time job and work SFI full time.
He then asked if I could demonstrate that success to him so that he
might know if it is real or not. I said, "Visit my page and see for
yourself." Then I gave him my joinmysfiteam link. "Visit this page", I
said, "and see my successes. Especially note two badges, Top 100 Sellers
and Top 15 sponsors. There are thousands of sponsors in SFI and I am
number 15. This based on ratings from our affiliates. I know how to
sell, and I know how to teach others to sell. Together we rise."
Eric is ready to go, and my badges helped him get there. But you may
want to call attention to specific badges that might demonstrate to your
prospects that you are a serious player in the online marketing world.
To: All SFI Affiliates From: SFI President Gery Carson
Today we are rolling out an important new piece of our platform, an "umbrella network" we've named "Zing." Yes, we're literally "adding some zing" to our program today!
Zing is very important because it will significantly simplify SFI for all existing and future affiliates. It simplifies it because it puts membership in ALL of our properties "all under one roof."
That is, effective immediately, there's no such thing as a TripleClicks Member per se, or a Rewardical Member, or a Localvantia Member (or Pricebenders or Eager Zebra members). Instead, you're simply referring members.
And once you've referred a member, some very cool things kick in. That is, no matter how you attracted a referral, whether it was to an Eager Zebra game, to a Pricebenders auction, or a product or other element of one of our other properties, we will be exposing him/her to all the others, including SFI!
Yes, for the first time in our 19+ year history, we are taking down the wall between our "non-affiliate properties" and SFI, and openly inviting ALL to partake in our awesome affiliate program too!
Zing works because your member login credentials provide you access to every one of our properties. ONE login for all our properties.
At the same time, Zing simplifies SFI and makes it much more accessible because getting started with SFI can now be boiled down to one simple action: REFER MEMBERS
If everyone focuses on referring members and teaching their new PSAs how to refer members, I see explosive growth ahead. Again, this is because we will be automaticallypromoting ALL our products and services...and the SFI affiliate program, too...to all of your referrals.
I'm very excited about the addition of Zing, and I look forward to working with all of our leaders in SFI to maximize its potential in the months to come.
Gery
P.S. I hope you'll come join me and your peers at the forum in discussions about Zing!
Q: Do we still use the term PRM? Yes, we still have PRMs (Personally Referred Members). The only thing that's changed is that the "Member" part of the term refers to Zing Network Members and not any individual property.
Q: So how do I refer members under this new Zing thing? Just keep doing what you've always done. If you want to promote SFI, use an SFI gateway, banner, etc. Your members will come in through the SFI door, so to speak. Or maybe you really like Eager Zebra games. Then promote those games, your members will come in through the Eager Zebra door. In short, promote the property or properties you are most passionate about...and let us take it from there in exposing your referrals to all our other properties, including SFI.
Q: Can I earn commissions on Zing Network Members? Yes. Remember, even if someone has become a member at a property like Rewardical (which sells no commissionable products), that member will be exposed to TripleClicks, Pricebenders, Eager Zebra, etc., where purchases ARE made and CV is generated that turns into commissions for referrers, their upline members, and the Executive Pool.
Q: Aren't the Zing Network Members I refer the same thing as a PRM (Personally Referred Member)? Yes, same thing.
Q: So can people sign up to become a member at ANY Zing property? Yes, all our properties have content and features that can only be accessed by logging in (i.e. having a member account) and will have a sign-up (registration) form. So when a person chooses to sign up, whether that's at TripleClicks or Rewardical or any other property, they'll be signing up as a Zing Network Member, with the side benefit of also getting member access to ALL our sites (which we'll mention when they sign up, in membership confirmation emails, etc.).
Q: Is there a Zing Network website? Yes. See www.zing.network. However, it's just a very simple splash page/info page that shows the Zing "umbrella" and the properties that make up the network. It really exists only for this purpose and will likely not be used in your marketing campaigns in any way (though it's possible that could change in the future). Note: Clicking on any individual property logo opens that property in a new window.
The Zing.network website as it appears on a tablet computer
Q: Will SFI be changing their training to really drive home the simple new message to refer members...and how to refer members? Yes! We will soon be actively embracing and communicating this in all our new affiliate training, messages, etc. Stay tuned and watch it unfold over the coming weeks!
Q: Some of your phrasing makes it sound like Eager Zebra and Pricebenders are separate entities, not part of TripleClicks. Is something changing here? No decision has been finalized on either of these properties, but we DO feel there may be advantages to spinning off Eager Zebra and Pricebenders to their own respective domains (eagerzebra.com and pricebenders.com) in the future.
Q: How will SFI be promoted to non-affiliate members? All of our non-affiliate properties will at least subtlety promote SFI. Additionally, all Zing Network Members will be receiving regular newsletters from us and they continually will be providing exposure to SFI and every other one of our properties in the network.
Q: Why does it make sense to promote SFI to non-affiliates now? Especially with our plan to go very big and wide with Rewardicals, it's just logical. That is, with Rewardical, you automatically earn one Rewardical token for every ten tokens earned by the members you refer. Since Rewardicals can be exchanged for forms of currency such as silver and Bitcoin, it's already essentially an affiliate program, albeit a modest one for most. Well, what about the person who would like to earn more and be able to earn in other ways? For such persons, we think they should be made aware of the SFI opportunity.
Q: So if any of my referred members choose to opt in to SFI, I will be their sponsor and they will become my PSA? Yes! And all they have to do is go log in at sfimg.com using their same Zing Network Member login credentials, and agree to the Affiliate Agreement. Boom, they're now officially SFI affiliates and part of your SFI downline! To clarify, if a member tries to log in at the Affiliate Center but is not an affiliate yet, it will automatically detect this and direct them to a page that includes the Affiliate Agreement and lets them know they need to agree to the Affiliate Agreement before they can proceed. That's it. Very clean and simple. They just need to read it and click "OK" and they're in.
Q: Where does that member, who is now a brand new affiliate, land upon agreeing to the Affiliate Agreement? As with all new affiliates, they'll start their SFI journey at our Getting Started page.
Q: Why the name Zing? We like it. It's short, memorable, and is a word that describes energy (which fuels the world and everything we do). The official definition of zing as a noun is "energy, enthusiasm, or liveliness." Zing as a verb is also great, meaning "to move swiftly."
Q: So what do I do differently now that Zing is here? When it comes to marketing and advertising, nothing really. As before, simply promote what you're passionate about, whether that's Eager Zebra games, SFI, or something else; we'll take care of the rest. The only thing you really need to do is stop adding "TripleClicks" or "Rewardical" or other property name in front of the word "Member." And DO note that when people sign up they will see references to Zing and being a member of Zing Network.
Q: Should I tell prospects about Zing, say that they'll be becoming members of Zing Network? That may be introducing unnecessary confusion. For now at least, we recommend that you lead with ads, banners, flyers, Gateways, etc. for the property or properties you're most passionate about. As a few more things get fleshed out, perhaps it will make sense to "lead with Zing," but let's cross that bridge a little later.
Q: If there's going to be an added focus on referring members, might we expect to see more marketing tools for this? Yes! Not only will we be developing and providing many new marketing aids, we'll also be reorganizing much of our training and other resources to better align with this new directive.
Q: "Just refer members" sounds great, but what about supporting our team members and other business-building activities! All those activities are just as important as ever, don't stop doing them! We're simply saying that the "front end" of SFI can now be communicated in what we feel is a cleaner and simpler way, especially for new affiliates. Confusion stops people in their tracks. If we can show new affiliates that all they have to do to start making money in SFI is to refer members...and we can show them how and give them powerful tools to do it...that's a BIG deal, potentially a game-changer!
Q: Can I call my referrals Zingers? You sure can! Officially, they're Zing Network Members or PRMs or just plain Members or Referrals, but "Zinger" is a fun term, and we encourage you to use the term especially in affiliate-to-affiliate discussions (such as at the SFI Forum). By the way, one of the definitions offered at dictionary.com for "zinger" is "a person or thing that has vitality or animation or produces startling results." Sounds exactly like the kind of person you want to be attracting, especially as a PSA!
Q: I love that you will now be automatically exposing all the members I sign up to all Zing properties, but will we be able to know WHICH property attracted them initially...and if and when they log in and/or take actions at other properties?
Yes! We are developing some amazing new tracking and reporting in this area. For example, let's say you are advertising an individual Eager Zebra game and this caused Joe to sign up as a Zing Network Member (so he could try out that game). The next day he plays two other Eager Zebra games. We'll let you know about that. A week later, Joe decides to bid in a Pricebenders auction. We'll let you know about that. A couple weeks later he logs in at sfimg.com and becomes an SFI affiliate. Yep, we'll let you know about that, too! Same with every other property. In our new reporting, we hope to give you some very detailed insights so you can see exactly what your members are doing so you can maximize all of your marketing and support efforts.
Q: For members who choose to opt in to SFI and become affiliates...how long will they retain their affiliate status? The longstanding policy of one year remains. Of course, any member who loses his/her affiliate status can regain it by simply logging in at the Affiliate Center at any time.
Q: Policy has never allowed us to contact our PRMs before. With Zing, might this change? If a referred member joins SFI, you of course can and should communicate with the person. And, yes, we are working on a way that will allow you to reach out to non-affiliates too!
Q: Since TripleClicks is mentioned, what's the latest on the changes in the ECA platform? We are finishing up the final pieces of this now. We hope to post an announcement with full details by the end of January.
Effective February 1st, 2018, we are implementing a new rank badge policy designed to reduce continuing confusion about one's actual rank.
Unless your rank was Affiliate, until you requalify at your previous month's rank (or advance to a higher rank), you'll now display a gray rank badge that denotes that requalification is pending.
EXAMPLE
You were a GTL (Gold Team Leader) in January. As of February 1st, if you do not meet the qualifications for GTL, your badge will look like this until you requalify:
Tip: You can quickly regain your previous month's rank badge by requalifying on the first day of each month. The easiest way to achieve this would be to set up a 1st-day-of-the-month Auto-Delivery for the amount of VersaPoints needed and making sure all of your qualifying PSAs do the same. In lieu of an Auto-Delivery, a manual order for the amount of VersaPoints needed on the first day of each month can also achieve the same result.
Why this new policy?
For years we've been attempting to determine the most effective policy for rank badges. We tried 30-day grace periods (allowing everyone to keep their badges, qualified or not, for an extra month). The big problem with that policy is that thousands of affiliates then didn't understand they needed to requalify, literally until after the month ended. This would cause many to do little to no work during the month and many would forfeit their CSAs and so on. It also created a LOT of hard feelings and caused many to quit SFI.
We then tried a 10-day grace period. Results were better, overall, but there was still considerable confusion with that policy.
...which brings us to our new policy. We think it's the fairest and clearest for all. Your previous month's rank is still there (for the entire month), but it's clearly denoted that you need to requalify. As soon as you requalify, your regular, "pretty" rank badge returns automatically.
Tip: Get yourself requalified as early in the month as you can each month and set a good example for all your team members and SFI peers!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Yes, a brand new year has arrived, and with it, fresh opportunity! We finished up 2017 in strong fashion; now it's time to grab that momentum and turn it into a BIG, BIG 2018!
REWARDICAL Leading the way will be our powerful new Rewardical program. So far, we've only shown you the tip of the iceberg. But there is much, much more to come, including lots of new ways to earn and win Rewardicals.
LOCALVANTIA Of course, Localvantia will also be a big part of 2018. Already dozens of merchants from all over the world have officially signed on, but we're just barely getting started! If we all work together, we can be celebrating thousands of merchants in the Localvantia network one year from now!
EAGER ZEBRA We know you love our Eager Zebra games, and we know you want more and different games. Well, our next great game is on the way...and if everything comes together like it should, it's just the start of a big expansion of the Eager Zebra universe.
BITCOIN Bitcoin was one of the most talked about things in the world in 2017. Well, not only can you make purchases at TripleClicks with Bitcoin, you'll soon be able to get paid in (receive your commissions) in Bitcoin, too! Tip: Until this is officially available, you can set your commissions to accumulate on account. Then, when Bitcoin is available, you can simply change your settings and receive all of the commissions you've accumulated into your Bitcoin wallet!
MORE And, of course, the "Ideas Machine" at SFI (empowered by suggestions from our awesome affiliates around the world) is PROLIFIC, and the current Projects Pipeline isburgeoning...so there's no doubt we'll be surprising and delighting you with many other great developments throughout 2018! Tip: Subscribe at news.sfimg.com and you'll receive an email of each new development the second it's announced.
ONE MORE THING...
Even though it was one of THE biggest new developments in 2017, Opti-Build sort of got lost amongst many, many other big developments. Well, we'd like to see a whole lot morepeople discover the power of Opti-Build (learn more) in 2018. And what better way than to introduce some new badges!
Effective January 10th, we'll be rolling out eight prestigious new badges for those participating in the Opti-Build program and generating POAs (Personally Originated Affiliates).
Generating 25 POAs earns you the basic "Opti-Builder" badge. Upon generating your 500th POA for your downline, you'll be awarded the prestigious "500 Club" badge. Become an Opti-Builder PRO with 750 POAs. And 1000 POAs puts you in truly rarified air with the gold Opti-Builder ELITE badge:
In addition to the above four badges, we're also introducing an Opti-Build leaderboard that recognizes our top Opti-Builders. You'll sport the basic leaderboard badge by being in the top 200. Move up to bronze with a leaderboard ranking of 51-100. Advance to silver with a ranking of 11-50. Sport the highest leaderboard badge (gold) by making the top 10.
Watch for full details on our eight new Opti-Build badges (including Badge Quest point values) next week.
That's it for now. Time to get to work!
